Workaday success at Spiers
Sixteen members and supporters of the Friends of Spiers had a very successful workday in glorious weather. This Saturday a number of first time workers attended and helped carry out tasks such as boundary wall moss and tree removal, path improvements, rhododendron clearance, daffodil planting, litter picking, and work on the Coronation Garden restoration.
FoS meet on the first Saturday of every month at Spiers. from 11am to 3pm. All are welcome and even an hour or two's contribution is appreciated. A number of non-practical tasks are also needing to be undertaken for those of a more desk based inclination. Contact the NAC Garnock Valley Ranger at Eglinton Country Park for details..
