Cans, bottles, carrier bags, sweet papers and motorists

Working at Spier's Old School Grounds, the Youth Making Beith Better group and the YKB Youth Groups have both taken part in litter picks alongside the Barrmill Road over the last few months, clearing away all the rubbish and filling seven bin bags of rubbish.

Now it's as bad if not worse. Can anyone explain the reason why motorists feel free to throw away their rubbish for others to clear up on their behalf?

They are lazy and arrogant and live in a me me me society that doesn't care who or whom or what they they hurt. So if a farm animal or a bird or any other wildlife chokes on their discarded rubbish  and dies they won't care one single bit. I don't see why they can't put their rubbish in a bin or take it home with them to rid it all.

i lived in beith for six months. between 7am-12noon. its a beautiful place.  after 12 and onwards its one of the worst places i have lived and thankfully my job ended and we moved. i feel sorry for the good people of beith especially the pensioners.  why is there so many pubs and off licence's on the one street.  the boy racers are terrible. were are the police.  i witnessed fights out on the street at 2pm on a saturday afternoon.
