Cheryl Steffler says:

Hello. I'm currently researching my family from the Beith area. The surname is BIGGART and I would welcome any information or photos concerning my family. My oldest relative (that I'm able to find) is Thomas Biggart who was born in the Beith area October 25th, 1719. His wife was Margaret Johnstone. Thomas Biggart and Margaret had a son Thomas Biggart Jr. He was married to Barbara Wark and had a son John. John Biggart moved to Canada with his wife Margaret Gibb. Margaret was also born in the Beith area. John had a son John Jr who was born in Huron County Ontario Canada. He married Agnes Falkener, who was also born in Ontario Canada. My family then decends from John and Agnes Biggart. My Biggart family website address is : http://cherylsteffler.tribalpages.com Please check it out and sign my guestbook. You can also contact me thru the website. Let me know if you recognize anyone! I'd be glad to hear from you.

don't know if your family were related to a Dalry Family that lived in Baidland Hill Farm in Dalry. There was a Thomas Biggart who lived there and they donated the Biggart Foutain in Dalry and there is a Biggart Memorial Hall named after them which is now a part of Trinity Church in Dalry. Log onto s1dalry.com below and you should see pictures and information about this.

Memories, Nostalgia & History

History doesn't have to be in black & white

Your memory of a local character or a school photo from the last ten years can be just as interesting as wars and Victorians.
