Barrmill Community Projects Initiative Group (BCPI)

This group is formed from volunteers based in Barrmill, Greenhills and Burnhouse. Its aim is to carry out improvements to the appearance of the area in terms of landscape, wildlife and amenities.

The BCPI Group are part of the Barrmill Community and District Association and they have joined the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers so as to access insurance, training courses, etc.

Barrmill Park and the Veil Grove are the centre of attention at present with many improvements to the paths, fences, seating, etc.

The NAC Ranger Service work closely with the group to provide advice and practical assistance.
